Client Brief

When designing this kitchen, we could take advantage of the bright open space by introducing dark, luxurious tones and attractive visual elements; the result is striking and atmospheric whilst maximising light within the living area.

The bespoke curved island end with thin vertical panelling is a unique design element created by Contour and pays homage to specific architectural features of some of Cheltenham’s local iconic structures. The solid, Dark Wild Oak Marsh breakfast table situated on top of the island anchors the design and creates warmth; it also exaggerates the asymmetry of the island against the symmetry of the tall configuration behind it, which in turn creates a pleasing aesthetic contrast.

Customer experience

The team were friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful during the entire process from concept and design, through to installation and after sales care. Options, materials and appliances were explained in great detail which enabled us to make informed decisions in order to best meet our requirements and budget. They were always happy to answer my many questions and remained flexible to incorporate minor changes and injects that a project like this can sometimes throw up. Regular site visits and correspondence ensured the installation ran smooth and the results are stunning.
